Globe
Engineering (10/31/09)
http://www.globeeng.com/
Thank you Globe for all the help the past few weeks!
Globe helped the team bend the frame and other various members using their CNC tubing bender. They
also cut out our tabs using a laser cutter programmed from the drawings our
design team leader put together! After returning home the frame was
put together to get the ball rolling on building the car this year!
OSU CEAT Stuco Donates (10/20/09)
http://www.ceatstuco.okstate.edu/
The team would
like to thank the CEAT Student Council for their
generous donation though the rainy day fund this
semester. Katie Nixon was able to put together a
proposal that got us enough money to order more parts
and get the building process started.
Homecoming
Activities (10/16/09)
The team made an appearance at OSU's homecoming
this year. We took the cars to walk around so
everyone could see them and talk to the team about who
we are and what we do. We also participated in the
parade by having the cars from the past 2 years driving
down Main St. in Stillwater accompanied by the Cowboy
Racing Trailer. Click here for
pictures and a
video.
Team Speaks to
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (10/13/09)
OLLI
Website
The team made a presentation to Osher Lifelong
Learning Institute. We explained who we are and
introduced our christmas light fund raiser. They
were very impressed with the presentation and are
looking forward to upcoming events. For pictures,

Fall Picnic a
Success! (9/26/09)
The fall picnic was a huge succeses. Lots of
people showed up to drive the cars around our new test
track and eat Carl's Jr. Hamburgers. For pictures
and a short video clip,

Fall Picnic (9/26/09)
We will be having a picnic Saturday, September
26th, at 11:00am for all of our sponsors and friends to
see the car. The picnic will be held at the new Cowboy
Racing Test-site which is located on the Northeast side
of the shop (please
see map). We would love for you to come enjoy some
Carl’s Jr. Hamburgers with us and be able to see and
drive the cars on our new test facility. We also would
also like to spend time with all of our sponsors to
discuss some of our plans for the competition this year.
New Cowboy Racing Test-site
(CRT) thanks to
Wittwer,
Dolese Brothers, and
CEAT
Technology Department. (8/10/09)
Thanks to some hard work and dedication from a
few members of the team, we now have our own testing
facility right next to the DML. We have laid out a
track and put in areas for testing the new cars
performance and durability so that we can be confident
we have a first place car for future years. This
testing area has been designed from obstacles from past
competitions and made even more difficult so that we
know that our car can handle whatever SAE throws at us
in the future. For pictures of the test site,

Wisconsin
Race (6/14/09)
Once again the 1st place eluded the
OSU Baja Team but we definitely had a blast on our trip!
We finished 15th in the endurance race and 25th overall.
3 hours into the race we broke our left rear a-arm
putting us out of the race for about 10 minutes while we
swapped it out with a spare. Unfortunately this
was too much time for our racers to make up. 1st
or not though our team had a blast meeting and helping
new teams, competing, and checking out Wisconsin.
Pictures can be found on our past competitions page.
We look forward to a new year and a new car! Check
in for more information on next years events!
