Design:

Overall Design
Our design is built upon the following criteria.  Don't change something that already works, and improve on the things that don't work that well.  Four our car this means lightening the frame, improving suspension geometry, using fabricated parts that have been proven reliable, and improving the quality of our work. The following parts will help us achieve this.

2-25-08 - This day marks the first day the 2007-2008 Baja car drives under its own power. Justin Otto took the car for its first glory drive taking it about 100ft and turning around and coming back. The car drove wonderfully and is looking to be a top ten car.

2-13-08 - We have a complete rolling chassis with front brakes, suspension, engine, and drivetrain.  The only things lacking now are the rear brakes, CVT shroud, body panel mounting, and the DETAILS.  Which sometimes take a long time.

11-03-07 - The design for the frame has been completed.  The two roll hoops along with the side impact members have been fabricated and installed. The next big step is suspension geometry.

9-15-07 - The team visited Globe Engineering to have their frame members bent and to tour their shop.  Globe Engineering has been very gracious for the help they have provided the OSU Baja Team.  Their continuted support has made it possible for the team to build the car they build.
